We may see posts in social media saying " when boredom strikes " or " So BORED. What to do ?", along with their selfie pictures or self-portrait facing the mirror with their cellphones covering their faces. Seems familiar?  Boredom is a usual temporary state of mind that people feel when they are unsatisfied with their current situation and craving for stimulation , or more stimulation compare to what they are actually doing at the moment. According to research studies, boredom happens when people are having trouble to focus their attention, and also when people have little control over the situation .
